In a wonderful landscape of rocky plains and arid plateaus you find the magestic Ksour of south-eastern Tunisia. Built since the 17th century by the Nomadi and Berber tribes to keep their products after the agricultural crops, the Ksour (plural of Ksar), fortified granaries, are composed of several overlapping cells called Ghorfas, sometimes in the plains, sometimes on the mountains with extraordinary architecture evoking big hives. These old buildings, mostly well preserved until today, represent an exciting world apart that you can discover with admiration in our different tours. Several Ksour are now well equipped to receive tourists, provide meals and accommodation, and this could be a step of our organized tours in southern Tunisia.
