DAY 1:SPECIAL OVERNIGHT IN THE HEART OF THE DESERT

Pick up from your selected hotel or location in Douz and drive into the desert aboard 4X4 vehicle crossing some sand dunes at the beginning of the Sahara.

We meet our Bedouin cameleers with their camels and all the equipment for a wonderful overnight in the desert.

After a short learning on camels, the caravan begins to ride to the Erg Oriental crossing superb high dunes of golden sands following the steps of camels.

Enjoy breathtaking landscapes of the golden Sahara dunes through this exceptional camel ride. You will make some stops to take photos of wonderful places.

Upon we reach our camping place at the end of the day, enjoy an amazing sunset on the sand dunes.

Enjoy a delicious Mint tea while our Bedouins prepare the sand bread. Savor a delicious meal around a campfire with the sound of traditional drumming and flute played by our Bedouin cameleer.

You discover the traditions and customs of the Bedouin and Berbers in the Sahara. A wonderful overnight in Bivouac under the starry sky that will be etched in your memory forever.

DAY 2:ENJOYING A SPECTACULAR SUNRISE IN THE DESERT

Opening your eyes, you find yourself surrounded by golden Sahara sand, you start the morning with spectacular views of first daylights on the giant dunes of the huge Sahara where you enjoy a charming sunrise.

Then, a tasty and typical breakfast prepared by our cameleers will be served to you.

Afterwards, we carry our things and bags and we start our journey on a camel ride crossing giant sand dunes and discovering the secrets of the Sahara.

We reach Douz where you bid farewell to our Bedouin cameleers and drop off.

End of our services.

What's a Bivouac?

Is it cold at night in the desert ?

In the Tunisian Sahara Desert there’s no big difference between the temperature during the day and that of the night but in winter the temperature  could decrease to 2  degrees. Il would be better to wear a pullover with a Jacket. But un summer time it’s hot  at night.
