THE SPLENDOR OF THE MOUNTAIN OASES AND STAR WARS SET LOCATION

Early departure from your hotel in Tozeur in a 4X4 Land Cruiser vehicle driven by our very experienced driver towards the mountain oases on the Atlas range.
Arrival to Chebika, the first mountain oasis with its breath-taking landscapes and the ruins of the ancient Roman village ” AD SPECULM “, walking tour to climb the mountain and admire stunning views. On the ground you can see some petrified shells that shows the presence of the sea millions of years ago, then you reach the natural spring that feeds the entire oasis you can enjoy a refreshing swim.
Drive to Tamerza, visit to the famous waterfalls and the ancient villages Ad Turres” which offers a surprising view with impressive contrasts with the oasis.
Departure to Mides, a magnificent little oasis close to the Algerian border with its ancient ruined village “MADES” which overlooks a breath-taking canyon. Visit to the Oasis with its three levels culture and the canyon, where the film ” The English Patient”was filmed.
We continue to Ong Ejmel, a small mountain whose shape seems to be a camel sitting in the middle of the Salt Lake Chott El Gharsa with its surprising mirages.
